A New Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Purrs on Broadway
The revival of Tennessee Williams' classic Southern tale Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opened at the Broadhurst Theatre on March 6. Debbie Allen made her Broadway directorial debut with a glittering cast, led by Terrence Howard, Anika Noni Rose, James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashad. The company toasted their opening—and the first Broadway production performed by an all-black cast—with an exciting array of celebrity guests.
