Fun and entertaining
"The show itself is very good, really fun and entertaining. We came to see Reece Weaver as the lead but fell in love with Velma and everyone’s performance. The only thing to note is not about the show but the venue. It’s an old theatre so expect seats to be small and tight. Very little leg room. And there is only one bathroom. The line was so long. Moved quickly but still waited a while. If you have to go, I’d recommend going before intermission "

Its dazzling choreography, unforgettable music, wicked humor, and unapologetic glamour stayed with me. Ever since, I had one Broadway dream: to experience Chicago live on stage.
And when I finally did, it didn’t disappoint. It stunned me.
From the first moment to the final bow, I was completely captivated. I loved every minute. I found myself remembering every song as it was performed, but hearing them live — surrounded by the energy of the theater — made them feel completely new.
The cast was phenomenal. The actors brought confidence, charisma, wit, and intensity, while the dancers were simply insane. Their precision, stamina, strength, flexibility, and control were extraordinary. To sing, act, dance, and maintain that level of stage presence requires an incredible amount of discipline and fitness.
And the diction! Every word, lyric, and sharp line landed exactly where it needed to. Nothing was lost, even in the fastest musical numbers. The performers commanded the stage with clarity and confidence.
The costumes were glamorous, seductive, sophisticated, and perfectly suited to the world of Chicago. But what truly stole the show for me was the dancing — raw yet elegant, sensual yet athletic, precise yet seemingly effortless. Watching the cast move as one was mesmerizing.
Walking out of the theater, I realized I had just experienced something I had imagined for years. The movie introduced me to Chicago, but Broadway made me feel it.

"The cast was amazing! We went to see it on 8/8:2026 because Mark Ballas is currently playing Billy Flynn. We knew he would be great but he over exceeded our expectations. The whole cast looked like they were having a great time. The theater is comfortable and I really liked that someone came through the theater before the show started to sell refreshments as I hadn’t stopped in the lobby to buy water. I would see this again if I were staying in NYC longer!! OH, and I didn’t expect to be as comical as it was at times - I loved that!! "

"Really enjoyed Chicago! The whole cast was outstanding and the level of talent on stage was incredible. Mark Ballas, Sophie Carmen-Jones and Krysta Rodriguez were especially memorable, but honestly everyone was fantastic.
