Floyd and Clea Under the Western Sky (Off-Broadway) Tickets

A tale of heartbreak and a parable about finding the strength to keep on keeping on against all odds, Floyd and Clea Under the Western Sky gets its New York premiere in a mainstage production at Playwrights Horizons. Burned out and living in his Studebaker, former country-western star Floyd Duffner has good reason to believe that his best days are behind him. But when a 20-year-old beauty with an electrifying voice enters the picture, an unlikely friendship and musical partnership begin to blossom. Actor and playwright David Cale joins with jazz guitarist and composer Jonathan Kreisberg to create a freewheeling musical journey that takes its characters from Montana to Austin, with a side trip to Hollywood.
