The Story
Against a backdrop of 1980s privilege and power, a disturbing scandal at an all-boys' prep school forces a mother to confront the truth about her son and herself. As the scandal unexpectedly twists and turns, mother and son find themselves contending with unforeseen and long-concealed secrets that threaten to destroy both school and family.
Second Stage Theatre presents Good Boys and True after presenting Aguirre-Sacasa's The Mystery Plays in 2004. The play premiered at Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago last season.
