Kicking a Dead Horse Tickets

An arresting new play by Sam Shepard, Kicking a Dead Horse is about the myth of the West, a Manhattan art dealer and the title animal. This play marks the fifth work by Shepard to make its American premiere at the Public Theater and the first to do so since Simpatico in 1994. The production is commissioned by the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Ireland and reunites Shepard with Academy Award and Tony nominee Stephen Rea after the pair worked together on Geography of a Horse Dreamer at the Royal Court Theatre.
