You've Gotta Have Friends! Old Acquaintance Opens on Broadway

Friendship was in the air on opening night of the Roundabout Theatre Company's summertime production of Old Acquaintance. Though John Van Druten's 1940 play takes a comic look at the squabbles between a pair of lifelong female friends, good cheer prevailed at the American Airlines Theatre on June 28. Family and pals of the play's stars, Harriet Harris and Margaret Colin, cheered the curtain call, then joined the company for a festive celebration at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Broadway.com raised a glass to the ladies and enjoyed the scene.
