The best best show in many years!
"The entire show was great! We don’t remember a show where all of the actors were fantastic! Equally in their performances, singing and movement across the stage!
The sound system, lighting, costumes, stage props and scenery were excellent! The production was a real tribute to one of the best!
My sister was on Broadway many years ago! I grew up with one of the top producers on Broadway today! I was a theater critic in college and I have seen hundreds of Broadway shows.
My step daughter was a ABC producer!
All would agree this show was great!
My last note would be to say the orchestra and its leader was outstanding, with a hats off to the stage crew, production crew, makeup/ dressing crews, sound and lighting crews!
Of course, to an absolutely wonderful lady Bernadette Peters who is always on top of her fantastic performance! Thank you!"

Great singing great direction!
"The singing, acting, and whole tone of the show was superb! Stephen Sondheim would have loved it ("except the wrong pitches from all the lower voices at the a cappela "On an ordinary Sunday"). Everything else was outstanding!"

Old Friends, New Friends
"Absolutely one of the best things I have ever seen. The singing was incredible. I particularly enjoyed the vignettes from Sondheim's musicals and not just a musical concert. Kudos to Cameron Mackintosh for his incredible genius in putting this together. Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga were outstanding. The only bad thing about this production is that it has a short run on Broadway, so go see it NOW

An Incredible Tribute
"What an unforgettable evening! A fantastic ensemble cast led by Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga. I loved every minute of it. There was laughter, (a lot of it) and some tears. A beautifully performed tribute to Stephen Sondheim by an incredibly talented cast. I consider myself extremely lucky to have seen this show. "

"The entire experience was heartwarming. My parents, both gone, were big Sondheim fans, and we felt like we were there with them! And we have not seen Bernadette Peters in person before! Bravo!"

Great Voices
"Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga are the headliner stars, and they were terrific. Peters delivered a poignant “Send in the Clowns” and Salonga belted out “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” among many wonderful numbers. But the two greats were just part of a large cast of super performers. A Sondheim video montage wrapped it all up very appropriately. All in all, a most enjoyable Broadway show."

Great cast
"We loved the songs we knew...the songs we didn't know not as much...the talent and choreography were amazing...the chance to see Bernadette Peters what more is there to say about that...we wish there was some dialogue or story connecting the songs together...loved that it was a multigenerational cast."

My experience
"I thought the cast was great. There voices were strong. I had some difficulty understanding the words.
The singing was great, but having no idea what it was about, I was reminded I am not a Sondheim fan. My interest were in seeing Bernadette peters and Lea salonga."

Not worth the hype
"I think there was false advertising. Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga were sensationalized to be the main characters in this concert BUT they didn’t even perform a lot. We expected more numbers from these 2. Also, this concert is for the older generation like in their 70s and above, who are familiar with the music. I paid for extra folks when I learned Lea Salonga was the main performer but was very disappointed. "
