The minute she walked in the joint, it was clear Diana Reed of Norwalk, Iowa was a winner! In October, Sweet Charity teamed up with Marie Claire Magazine to offer folks everywhere the chance to shine on a Broadway stage. Hundreds of contestants submitted their dance tapes, and 10 of the most original finalists competed. As the winner of the Sweet Charity Dance-Off, Reed was flown to New York and given dance lessons with the show's choreography team before making her appearance on Broadway on December 19 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. If her friends could see her now indeed!
