Julie Andrews Hits the Spelling Bee Stage for Kids' Night on Broadway!

Some 48 hours after being presented with the Screen Actors' Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in Los Angeles, stage and screen icon Julie Andrews stepped onto the stage of the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City to kick off Kids' Night on Broadway at the The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. "You young kids are our future and our inspiration," Andrews told the crowd at the January 30 performance. The Mary Poppins Oscar winner, who is also a best-selling author of 17 children's books, was accompanied by her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton, who has co-authored many of those books with her mom.
