Before Sutton Foster begins transforming herself 8-shows a week into showgirl Janet Van Der Graafs in The Drowsy Chaperone at the Marquis Theatre starting April 3, the Tony-winning star stepped into the Chelsea photo studio of Joan Marcus for a little transformation off the boards. Not your average publicity shoot -- oh, no, no, no, no! With Marcus' lens focused and framed to capture the 1920s high glamour of Foster's show-off-y character in Chaperone for images to be used on stage in the Broadway production, we were only too happy to catch a few glimpses as the team deftly and deliciously recreated a bygone era.
