Special Actors' Fund Pillowman Performance Gets a Starry Crowd

The Pillowman, Martin McDonagh's darkly comic tale about about a fiction writer in a totalitarian state who is interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories, had a performance to benefit the Actors' Fund on August 7. The special event drew a starry crowd--both in the audience and backstage congratulating the cast after the curtain came down. Of course, it was all for an amazing cause: the Actors' Fund advances, fosters and benefits the welfare of all professionals in the entertainment community who are in need of help. And what better way to do that than getting the bejesus scared out of you by Billy Crudup and co.?
