On Opening Night, a Starry Crowd Receives The Treatment
The night after the fifth anniversary of 9/11, the premiere of Eve Ensler's new play The Treatment kicked off the new politically-focused Impact Theater Festival at off-Broadway's Culture Project on Bleecker Street in the Village. After the performance, a host of civic-minded celebs—from Roberta Flack to Jean Kennedy Smith to Jane Fonda!—congratulated Ensler and her two talented stars, Dylan McDermott and Portia.
