What do you get when you mix Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein, two-time Oscar winner Dianne Wiest and Lincoln Center? Stir in uber-director Daniel Sullivan, legendary actor Charles Durning and talented performers Jason Ritter, Gaby Hoffman and Amy Acquino, and it all adds up to the new off-Broadway show Third. Wasserstein has set her drama on a college campus where accusations of plagiarism turn lives upside down. The show, which opened on October 24, celebrated its first performance in the mezzanine of Avery Fisher Hall. No one was cheated with this fabulous party where the company toasted each other and offered bright smiles for our camera. Voila!
