The Thurgood team hosted a meet and greet with the press on April 10 at the New 42nd Street Studios. On hand were star Laurence Fishburne, director Leonard Foglia and veteran movie producer George Stevens, Jr., who's set to make his Broadway debut as a playwright. The three men posed for pics then answered questions about the new one-man show, based on the life of Thurgood Marshall, who was the first African-American to serve on the Supreme Court. All three agreed that the production is an educational experience, but thanks to the real-life Marshall's sharp sense of humor, it also delivers some big laughs. Thurgood starts preview on April 12 and opens April 30 at the Booth Theatre.
