Back when Xanadu first burst into the world as a feature film starring Olivia Newton-John in 1980, Susan Lucci was daytime's reigning superstar. Jump-cut 27 years later and, as the movie has been adapted as a retro-chic hit on Broadway, the All My Children diva is still ruling the daytime airwaves—and looking fabulous, we might add. Attending the December 18th performance of the new Broadway musical, we caught Lucci (who once traipsed the Broadway boards herself, in the title role of the most recent revival of Annie Get Your Gun) after the show as she met the stars of Xanadu.
