COVID-19 Safety Policies

By attending Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre, all patrons are acknowledging their consent to, and agreed to abide by, the safety precautions that have been adopted therein, which may include the wearing of face coverings.

As public health conditions and New York State’s guidance for performing arts and live entertainment changes, the theatre will remain flexible and adapt to applicable health protocols, such as face coverings, health screening, enhanced air filtration and ventilation, and rigorous cleaning and disinfection.

Failure to comply with any such precautions could result in guests being asked to leave the Venue. We further reserve the right to refuse entry to any person that refuses to comply with our safety protocols.

Theater Information


This theater has both 42nd Street and 43rd Street entrances, both wheelchair accessible.

Hearing Assistance

The theater is equipped with an infrared listening device system.

Elevators and Escalators

There are designated ADA locations in the Orchestra and Dress Circle levels, with elevator access available to both (no access to Balcony.)

Wheelchair Access

This theater includes wheelchair seating and entrance access.


Accessible restrooms are located in the Dress Circle lobby.

Coat Check

This theater provides coat check.


New theater building built from architectural remnants of the Apollo and the Lyric theaters.

Late Seating Policy

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management.


Various bars are available providing drinks, snacks and other refreshments. A snack shop is also available providing drinks, sweets, and bites featuring health-conscious snacks as well as signature Broadway items.
