Emma Stone's Elephant Man Impression
This is Oscar nominee Emma Stone as you've never seen her before. The 2015 Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner has been busy promoting her latest movie, Aloha, with co-star Bradley Cooper. Cooper, of course, recently received a Tony nod (not to mention a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award!) for his performance in The Elephant Man, and begins previews tonight in the London transfer of the show. Prompting Stone, when Cooper was asked about appearing again in the Tony nominated revival, to do an impression of his Elephant Man. Cooper's verdict? "That's good, dude!" Tony Danza Returns to N.Y. Stage
Tony Danza will makes his Café Carlyle debut June 16 through June 27 with Tony Danza: Standards and Stories. The recent Honeymoon in Vegas headliner’s show will feature a selection of highlights from the Great American Songbook and more. We know Danza will be showing everyone at the renowned venue who’s the boss!
Christian Borle & More Set for Stars in the Alley
This year’s Stars in the Alley is certainly living up to its name! The concert will include performances or appearances by Christian Borle, Andy Karl, Alex Sharp, Brandy, Corey Cott, Sierra Boggess, Clyde Alves, Jeanna de Waal, Lisa Howard, James Monroe Iglehart, Adam Jacobs, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Chilina Kennedy and many more! Hosted by the previously announced Darren Criss and featuring more than 20 Broadway shows, Stars in the Alley will take place on May 27 from 10:30am-12:30pm in Shubert Alley, rain or shine!
Another Trophy for Broadway-Bound Hamilton
We’re getting familiar with these two shows sweeping off-Broadway awards! The Broadway-bound Hamilton won Best New Musical and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Between Riverside & Crazy picked up Best New Play at the off-Broadway Alliance Awards. The fifth annual event also honored Abundance with Best Play Revival, Into the Woods with Best Musical Revival, Scenes From a Marriage with Best Unique Theatrical Experience, Just Jim Dale with Best Solo Performance and A Band of Angels with Best Family Show.
