When a performance is sold out, some shows will offer a limited number of discounted standing room tickets for viewing the performance from the rear of the theater with no seating. Not all shows will offer standing room tickets.

Rush tickets are a limited number of discounted tickets that are sold in person at the theater on a first-come, first served basis for a same-day performance.

A preview is any performance occurring before a show's official opening. Previews allow the cast and crew to fine tune the show before it is subject to critical review by the media. The announced cast is scheduled to appear during these performances unless otherwise indicated.

Opening night is a show's first official performance and attendance is often limited to the media, cast members' family and friends, and other special guests. Critical reviews of the show are usually published the following day.

Will Call, also known Box Office Pickup, allows you to pick up your tickets at the theater's Box Office 30 minutes prior to showtime with a valid photo ID. Many theaters no longer offer Will Call pickup and instead only offer electronic (i.e., mobile) ticketing.
