Yes, she’s the niece of Julia Roberts, but looking at her bio, it’s clear Emma Roberts is as talented and driven as she is well-connected. Landing her first acting gig as Johnny Depp’s daughter in the 2001 movie Blow, Roberts has since parlayed that success into her own television series (Nickelodeon ’s Unfabulous), a pop album (Unfabulous and More: Emma Roberts) and some choice movie jobs (Aquamarine, Nancy Drew). Now, the 17-year-old performer is graduating to indie fare by co-starring with Alec Baldwin in Lymelife, which recently premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. All that, and she loves the theater, too! Yup, Broadway.com caught her checking out Equus at the Broadhurst Theatre on October 18.
