Billy Crystal opened his heart and invited us in.
"I guess I expecting to see Billy Crystals standup. Joke, voices, etc. what I got was much more. It was a glimpse into his life and heart. I laughed I cried and every emotion in between. I walked out a better person from having seen his show. I only hope that they make a streaming show out of it so I can watch it again and again. If you don’t get emotional while watching him do the show then you have no heart or soul. Run to see this show. "

A perfect balance of emotional , hysterical and sincerity .
"After seeing Billy crystal in 700 Sundays, really felt this play could not even get close to that experience . He blew us away ! It was a 10 star plus. He was up close and personal. The only uncomfortable moment was a little too much politics . Really needed a night off from anything political. We respect his views and we can agree to disagree which is the beauty of living in America. Just wanted to laugh and hear his story . "

Laughter through tears, the best emotion
"Billy is fabulous, this was a real highlight of our trip. We were walking to get a bite one morning and saw him on the marquee and bought tix immediately. His story and the way he tells it reminds you in the sweetest way to never lose your sense of wonder. I laughed, I cried, and then laughed some more! You can honestly feel your heart open! On a side note, Anita was the usher in our section and she really goes out of her way to make you feel special. I’m on the short side and she brought me a cushion to sit on so I could see better! All in all, WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! Highly recommend!!"

Amazing Story Telling
"What a wonderful night of nostalgia! Anyone over the age of 60 will be delighted by Billy's personal and professional stories. The staging was perfect and at 90 minutes with no intermission it was the perfect length since it is one of the older theaters with tight seating."

A life well lived.
"A very beautiful, nostalgic journey through key parts of Billy Crystal’s life, all in the context of the fiery destruction of his family home in the Palisades. Well structured, emotional and funny all at once. I can’t recommend it enough!"

A lesson in hope and resilience
"I liked the set and the inclusion of home videos of the fire. I liked the way he reflected upon his past with the present and included his family and friends which were the most important things. I was there with my sisters and 100-year-old mother. It was my mom's idea after hearing Billy talk about the show on "The View" with Whoopie Goldberg. My sister is coming back in December with her husband. Fantastic!"
