But when she's called home to New Hampshire answer her mother's distress call about a marital crisis, Amanda's grand plan starts to unravel. Actress-turned-director Blair Brown has tapped four-time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason as the matriarch in this rueful off-Broadway comedy, with Richard Masur as her husband and a trio of talented young actors as Amanda and her suitors. A Feminine Ending is a bittersweet new play about dreams deferred, loves lost and learning to trust a woman's voice in a man's world.
