Great Show & Cast, perfect for the whole family
"The cast was what made the show! If you can, get seats close enough to enjoy the facial engagement of each cast member - one of the reasons the cast was so enjoyable to watch. The Genie was my favorite character, a mastery of a role by the cast member. It was hard not to love Aladdin with his twinkling eyes and great timing of his eye movements to the other cast members. I would encourage families with super young kids to attend the matinee performance. We were surrounded by several families with tired, irritable children at the later show and it was disappointing to struggle to hear everything over the cries. Well done CAST! This is a show I would attend again!"

"I loved the energy!!!! The performance came across as fresh! Despite the high energy, things did not seem rushed.
The set for the cave of wonders was perfection.
The number of costumes for Prince Ali's entrance/arrival at the sultan's palace was beyond remarkable. The retinue seemed to never end and with gorgeous outfits for the audience to really get the feel of decadence and power."

One thing I didn’t like (not related to the show) is the entrance of the theater displayed on maps. Maps should be updated to identify the theater (New Amsterdam) on 42nd street and not 41st. "

A magical first Broadway experience
"This was my very first live theatre experience, and I absolutely loved it! The performances were outstanding, with every actor bringing so much energy and life to the stage. Aladdin
In the middle-eastern town of Agrabah, Princess Jasmine is feeling hemmed in by her father’s desire to find her a royal groom. Meanwhile, the Sultan’s right-hand man, Jafar, is plotting to take over the throne. When Jasmine sneaks out of the palace incognito, she forms an instant connection with Aladdin, a charming street urchin and reformed thief.
After being discovered together, Aladdin is sentenced to death, but Jafar saves him by ordering him to fetch a lamp from the Cave of Wonders.
