"Like many, I was introduced to Hamilton on Disney+ and was hooked immediately. Seeing the performance live at the Richard Rogers theatre was absolutely incredible. The theatre itself is beautiful and feels like stepping back in time. The cast was phenomenally talented and performed the show with such passion and care. The show itself is such a mix of joy, heartbreak, history and humor. I would absolutely recommend this show to all! "

An incredible show that moved my musical disliking wife to tears.
""Hamilton" at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway is a revolutionary musical that has taken the theater world by storm. This groundbreaking production, created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton through a unique blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and traditional Broadway musical styles. The production quality of "Hamilton" is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment the curtain rises, audiences are transported to 18th-century America through a combination of innovative staging, lighting, and costume design. The rotating stage and minimalist set pieces allow for seamless transitions between scenes, keeping the energy high throughout the performance. The cast of "Hamilton" is truly remarkable, delivering powerhouse performances that bring the historical figures to life with depth and nuance. The actors' ability to rap, sing, and dance while conveying complex emotions and historical events is a testament to their incredible talent and the show's rigorous casting process. One of the most striking aspects of "Hamilton" is its ability to evoke strong emotions in audiences, even those who may not typically enjoy musicals. The show's themes of ambition, love, loss, and legacy resonate deeply with viewers, often leaving them moved to tears. The poignant moments, such as Eliza Hamilton's heart-wrenching performance in "Burn" and the tragic duel scene, are particularly powerful. The score of "Hamilton" is a masterpiece in itself, seamlessly blending various musical genres to create a sound that is both fresh and timeless. Miranda's clever lyrics are packed with historical references, wordplay, and emotional depth, rewarding multiple listens and encouraging audiences to delve deeper into the story. "

"I've loved Hamilton since my 8th grade history teacher played it for us.. I'm 23 now and was blessed enough to see it on Broadway in NYC. I love it and the crew was amazing. The theater was a bit tight and got hot after a little bit, that would only be the unenjoyable part. Otherwise the experience was great, the theatre staff was awesome as well. "

I could only see one— glad I picked Hamilton
"We really loved this show/. With a short stay we could only see one show. We picked this. The story was so interesting and the re-imagining of a puritanical and white history was just so genius. Breaking barriers!"

Surpassed my expectations!
"I had watched it a few times on the Disney channel with the original cast and loved it. I was worried it would not feel as fresh, that it would not live up to my expectations, but i was so wrong. The cast is phenomenal and watching it live just doesn’t compare to watching it on tv no matter how amazing the set up is. Go see it live, you will not regret it! "

An incredible show
"It was really good, and I liked to see au vivo everything that happens on stage. There is a lot of people needed for that to happen and I appreciate all the hard work from everyone. Trey is a great fit for Hamilton, Morgan sings similarly to Philipa, and Andrew is hilarious, but everyone was great. The ensemble is super talented. So glad to have been able to see it!"

So Glad We did it!
"Great show! Fun for our entire adult family. Lots of very dynamic rap so you have to be able to hear well and pay close attention. Powerful and moving storyline. Wish I had read a little more about the topic prior to going. We saw Book of Morman the evening prior and the plays are polar opposite but the talent of the actors is amazing! Strongly recommend as a must do when visiting NY!"

EXPECTED TP LIKE IT!
"Having seen the Disney channel showing, and actually knowing a lot about the events, I expected to enjoy the show. What I didn't expect was being blown away by the choreography! Of course the dancers were spectacular, but that inventiveness of movement and the connection to both music and lyrics as well as the story was masterful. Beautifully cast, fabulous voices and creative costuming, only one thing to say: GO!! "

Amazed and moved
"Amazing performance. The performers brought such energy and pathos to their roles. And the Eliza! Wow. She had me in tears. This show is a great way to understand the power of the impulsive boy genius that was Hamilton and the generousness of the woman who preserved his legacy and did much good in her own right."
