"Harry De Cruz was the magician who performed in the show that my family and I saw. He was the understudy magician for Jamie Allan. We all thought he was fantastic. Harry was very personable, great with the kids, and a fantastic story teller. However, I'm not sure if what was being told was just for the show, or if it was really his life growing up. In any case, I thought Harry was great and the show was extremely entertaining. A great show for both adult and kids. We truly enjoyed it. The theatre was extremely small, which was a positive thing, because there were no bad seats.
I would definitely recommend the show."

Inspiring
"Jaime is able to weave a show dedicated to his parents around his love for magic. If you are looking for a magic show filled with trick after trick, this is not it. What you do get is music, storytelling and magic summed up in a story of childhood awe to adulthood dream making. The magic is smooth and engaging. Highly recommend!"

Great for dreamers and skeptics alike.
"Jamie says this show is for people who just want to enjoy being amazed as well as for skeptics. Being the latter myself, I can confidently say either will be amazed. "

A thoroughly enjoyable evening
"We enjoyed the show immensely. The audience is small so it feels intimate. The story is easy to follow. The magician - Harry de Cruz - was fantastic. I want to see it again. "

A fascinating evening
"The show is more than a magic show; it is about our hopes and dreams as children. It is suitable for all ages. Some of the magic is surprising. One at the end, that invites the entire audience to participate is astounding. I do hope people who write any reviews will heed the request not to tell anyone about specific tricks. It will really ruin it for you if you go knowing what will happen. "

Starts off slow but ends much better
"I liked the actual magic but the storyline of how he became a magician was a little slow. I realize that was part of his act. It did end well with some really good things that captivated the audience. A nice tribute to his Mom and Dad who helped him get started with his dreams of becoming a magician since boyhood. Overall it’s worth seeing."

A quality magic performer, performance & backstory.
"The performer & his endearing personality sold the show. The backstory of his familial history was heartfelt & appreciated. His magic left us in asking how did he just do that- right in front of our eyes! The venue is small & intimate- it made the event more enjoyable. This is a fairly low budget show, but he makes it up with magical experience and wonderment. "

The title fits the show…AMAZED!
"A must see for adults and children alike. It was so well done and intriguing of how he did it. So many questions and no answers. Well worth the time and the reasonably priced ticket. Definitely added it to your list."

Not really a magic show
"If you are expecting a full-blown "David Blaine" type show, you'll probably be disappointed. It's 50% talk about his life with magic, 50% actual magic. Kinda like a one man play with a few tricks thrown in.
Good news is the venue is small so seats are great and a couple of the tricks will absolutely blow your mind. I still can't figure how he pulled them off.
All-in-all, it was good entertainment and worth the price of admission."

Less talking more magic
"Liked all the tricks, way too much talking. Noticed children looking around or fidgeting around in their seat.
I understand wanting the connection with the audience, but he needs a better balance. I wish him all the success he deserves.
I left with a desire for silence. "

Too much talk
"I brought my 8 yr old granddaughter. We had front row seats. There was too much talk about his family and childhood and less about the real magic.
We left at intermission."

Not impressed at all
"We went for my daughter birthday. Jaime spent a lot of time talking and talking about his family. In my opinion, magic shows should just be about the magic. Not an autobiography. But most of all, the magic was minimal and underwhelming."
