Smaller venue, better experience
"This venue is smaller than the usual Broadway theatre. Having such a smaller venue allowed the experience to feel more personal & special. Instead of just watching a show, I felt that I was actually a part of the show. Being so close to the actors changed the experience of Broadway for me in the best way ever. I will forever be replaying this show & experience in my head!"

Master Class in Loving What You Do
"Jonathan Groff expertly led this cast through the story of Bobby Darin's life. It reminded me why I love theater so much-- interactions with the audience were impeccable and you could tell each cast member really enjoyed doing so, especially Jonathan. The songs were gorgeously performed-- Larkin understudies Gracie Lawrence and brought the character of Connie Francis TO LIFE. Erika Henningsen was fantastically impressive and portrayed the ever-changing dynamics between Sandra Dee with such heart and grace."

"We purchased tickets for my parents while they were in town visiting my daughter, Bobby Darrin is right up their alley. They loved it, so when my wife and visited town we went to the show. While I’m familiar with the music, it wasn’t my era, it didn’t matter. Absolutely incredible, I would see it again. Great arrangements, choreography, the cast was wonderful and Jonathon Groff couldn’t be more entertaining! "

This play came " Just in Time" It made our stay in NYC perfect
"First of all the venue is fantastic. We had medium row seats and felt like we were part of the production. You are close to the actors and they act throughout the theatre. The center is a cabaret setting which although has patrons at cafe tables, they are in the action.
The acting is superb, singing was over the top and the dancing was marvelous. We plan on seeing this again next year. Do yourself a favor and see this production !"

Jonathan Groff is a non-stop dynamo from beginning to end.
"This musical captures the vibe of the late 50's, the 60's, and 70's and it's all driven by Jonathan Groff's energy. The music, the set design, and lighting all add to the feeling that you're back in that time watching the rise and fall of Bobby Darin. The only thing detracting from the play was the gratuitous use of the "F" word. It seemed, at times, it was thrown in just to shock. Other than that, I'd go again."
