Joyous Percormance
"Loved Jonathan Groff’s telling about Bobby Darren, Jonathan’s inserting his own background and talking to the audience as narrator was a welcome change from most jukebox musicals. The music was great, of course. The entire cast was energetic and seemed to enjoy performing. As as aside, I’ve seen shows where they were going through the motions but these have been more long running shows.
The set was beautiful giving a nightclubby feeling. I will recommend this to everyone,

"Jonathan Groff is so incredibly talented and expends so much energy during this show I can’t possible understand how he does it night after night. He is charming and engaging! He has become one of my favorites. I came to NYC just to see him in this, and he did not disappoint. The show is creative in the way it weaves Bobby Darin’s tragic story with the music. Alll of the characters did a great job. My only minor criticism is that the person who played Connie Francis has a nasal quality in her voice. "

The only thing I have to complain about is my floor seat. I would not recommend them because they are right up against the tables on the stage and all you’re looking at is the backs of those people sitting there. Either get a seat in a row farther back and higher up or sit at one of the tables. "

"This is the second time that I have seen the show and it was fabulous both times. Jonathon Groff, should have won the Tony, does it all, acting, singing dancing, everything at the top.
