Absa - freakin - lutely !!!!!
"All I can say is WOW!!! What a performance. Although I am a child of the 80s, my dad grew up in the 50s and loved Bobby Darin. As such, I was always listening to his music growing up. When I saw a clip of Splish Splash online, I knew I needed to take dad to see this show. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!
Jonathan Groff was amazing. He embodied Bobby and really drove home the inner feelings of all his songs. We were dancing and singing along in our seats. The rest of the cast was awesome as well. The only complaint was that Sarah Hyland did not perform the Sunday afternoon show. Would have really loved to have seen her.
I will be purchasing the soundtrack (and getting a copy for dad for the holidays) and adding it into my listening rotation.
There is a lot of adult language, so I would not recommend this show for kiddies, but teens who like the music will be fine.
With Jonathan Groff leaving in the spring, and my dad spending the winter in Florida, I am so happy we got to go when we did.
Five stars is not enough!!! Go See This Show!!!"
