Couldn't take our eyes off the stage
"My husband and I are not huge MJ fans, we do like his music though so thought this performance would suit us both. Wow is all I can say. From start to finish it was amazing. There was even a few times i had tears in my eyes and goosebumps when some started to sing. The lady who plays his mother has such an incredible voice, honestly they were all fantastic.
We were sat on the mezzanine section on row R and the seats were perfect.

"I have seen a LOT of Broadway shows. This one is now in my top 5. The lighting, sound, and choreography were hands down the best I've ever seen. We saw one of the FOUR understudies for MJ (and I can see why there needs to be four because this is the most demanding role I've ever seen someone have to dance, and also sing!). Matte was insanely talented and I instantly forgot I was watching someone who wasn't actually the real Michael Jackson! I would watch this show again and again and can't wait to!! "One of the main reasons I enjoyed this play was the actors portraying the main characters were right on point. The songs actually sounded like the originals. Since I'm old enough to remember the family from the start. The play was accurate but happily left out some of the negative aspects of MJ's later life. Seeing this play was a birthday gift from my son and it was a great gift. I'm ready to see it again. Thank you."
