Absolutely amazing!
"I'm just a nobody from Australia but we were only in New York for 1 week, we wanted to see a Broadway show and landed on MJ the Musical and I am so glad we came!!
The entire show was incredible, the cast were terrific dancers and their vocals were amazing!
The way Michael Jackson through his ages was portrayed, was respectful and accurate. All the different aged Michael's sounded so similar but I very much enjoyed later life Michael, his speaking voice, dance moves and singing voice was insane (I had to keep telling myself I was not looking at the real MJ).
I learnt a lot about Michael Jackson and his life last night and at times got really emotional listening to his music in such a way, remembering all the incredible and influential songs he had written and sung since he was a child.
4.5 stars just because I feel like it could've been longer, more detail could've been given to certain areas and I think there were quite a few songs I wish they sung just a little bit longer!
Bravo to everyone, this was a Broadway production I will never forget! "

"A good storyline, great dancing, great vocals (some of my favorites were the few songs by “Michael Jackson’s mother”), but the lead Michael Jacksons and others were very good. The storyline really told the story of MJ’s background and rise to stardom. Lighting and visual EFX were all top notch."

Elijah Rhea Johnson could be Michael Jackson, as could Tavon Olds-Sample and the winsome, Austin Rankin who portrayed MJ at various age appropriate stages. "I have seen this show twice seats in orchestra and then on 8/16/24 Mezzanine and both times I was dancing in my seat. In the Neil Simon Theatre I found the sound clearer in orchestra than in Mezzanine. However, the dancing singing and storyline were spectacular. If you haven’t seen this is one you wouldn’t want to miss"
