A great show! With room for improvement
"This show is fun and spectacular. It depicts well the life of MJ. The singers have great voice and the special affects are on the top. Though, two things could he improved. First, the lead actor for MJ impersona him ok. He is not bad and his feets move well, but his dance and parody movements are too smooth and soft, while the real MJ had more precise and crisp moves when dancing. So that creates a bit of a distance. Also, if the transitions between the scenes are well done, the scene chosen to perform before the intermisson and at the end are a bit off. I mean: when we thought we reached a crescendo before the break with a spectacular scene, instead of cutting there, we fall into a blabla scene and something mild. It breaks the momentum. Same at the end: when we thought we have a great high with thriller, we drop into a so-so scene with less power. We think that th crescendo shall be kept instead of those less interesting endings"

Absolutely amazing!
"I'm just a nobody from Australia but we were only in New York for 1 week, we wanted to see a Broadway show and landed on MJ the Musical and I am so glad we came!!
The entire show was incredible, the cast were terrific dancers and their vocals were amazing!
The way Michael Jackson through his ages was portrayed, was respectful and accurate. All the different aged Michael's sounded so similar but I very much enjoyed later life Michael, his speaking voice, dance moves and singing voice was insane (I had to keep telling myself I was not looking at the real MJ).
I learnt a lot about Michael Jackson and his life last night and at times got really emotional listening to his music in such a way, remembering all the incredible and influential songs he had written and sung since he was a child.
4.5 stars just because I feel like it could've been longer, more detail could've been given to certain areas and I think there were quite a few songs I wish they sung just a little bit longer!
Bravo to everyone, this was a Broadway production I will never forget! "
