Othello Frequently Asked Questions

Othello runs approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission. Subject to change. 

Othello is a limited engagement, running for 15 weeks from February 24, 2025 until June 8, 2025.

The 2025 revival of Othello stars Denzel Washington as Othello and Jake Gyllenhaal as Iago.

Othello performances begin promptly at the advertised curtain time. There is strictly no late seating. Patrons who leave their seat for any reason during the performance will not be re-admitted.  

The use of cameras, cell phones and other recording devices during Othello is strictly prohibited by law, except when used for accessibility services. Upon arrival at the Barrymore Theatre, all phones will be locked in Yondr pouches by our staff and will be opened at the end of the performance. Guests maintain possession of their phones and can access them at intermission as needed.
