Really Amazing!
"I loved Suffs! The music and story line were incredible. It was cool to see the conflicting story lines between the different factions of the movement. The characters and events were inspiring. I like going into shows without having listened to the soundtrack, however I could still understand the songs and I was able to follow to the story line even though it was my first time listening to the music. Know our collective female history of the vote.
"Wonderful music, great voices, historic rendition, moving and with what can be described as references to today’s political scene.
Go. You won’t be disappointed. Well, you might be disappointed in the size of the seats and leg room which were meant for people alive around the turn of the century. "

This was arguably the best play I've ever seen.
"This musical showed the history of the suffragist movement in twentieth-century America, warts and all. I laughed, I cried, I cheered, but mostly I felt inspired to carry on the fight for women's rights in the twenty-first century. I saw it with a senior sister social activist, and to a large extent we felt like it was speaking to us and our life-long struggle for equity for all."

Fabulous play!
"The music was fantastic and everything was historically accurate! It’s hard to believe, though, that 100+ years later we’re still working on nailing down the ERA. "

Loved this play!!!
"I loved everything about this play- the story, the music, the voices, and the acting. This play is the reason we came to NYC and it did not disappoint. It was the highlight of our trip. Nothing to suggest for a better experience. What a story and what a cast. I love that the story was told, warts and all. "

A great story.. well told
"I loved the theme, the music, the actresses and most of all the energy shown in the play. It was inspiring.
It's a story that is needs to be told and explained to younger generations of women who do not really realize or appreciate the sacrifices that many women had to go through to simply get their
rightful votes... from men. "

Moving with a powerful message
"I took my 17 year old daughter for her birthday. We were not only moved by the stunning performances, but inspired by the story of what others suffered so we have the right to vote! As the show powerfully reminds us, the fight for equality and democracy goes on. We "Keep Marching!""

About
Suffs
Following a sold-out, extended run at The Public Theater, Suffs arrives on Broadway — and not a moment too soon. From the singular mind of Shaina Taub, this “remarkable, epic new musical” (Variety), boldly explores the victories and failures of a struggle for equality that’s far from over.
It’s 1913 and the women’s movement is heating up in America, anchored by the suffragists — “Suffs,” as they call themselves — and their relentless pursuit of the right to vote. Reaching across and against generational, racial, and class divides, these brilliant, flawed women entertain and inspire us with the story of their hard-won victory in an ongoing fight. So much has changed since the passing of the Nineteenth Amendment over a century ago, and yet we’re reminded sometimes we need to look back, in order to march fearlessly into the future.
