Not for me!
"The talent was definitely there. The lead characters had talent and passion. But, Not entertaining at all. Dismal. No set design, no costume changes. Everyone in black and white the entire show. I want to be entertained in a more upbeat manner. Almost walked out early. I guess I chose the wrong show!"

The slooooooowest story ever!!
"The cast is amazingly talented…but, the storyline is SLOW, the songs are SLOW, even their speech is SLOW…the “atmosphere” is black and white…No color, practically no dance…the show unfortunately just drags on and on and on…We are avid Broadway fans but we really, really struggled to get through this very long show. Again, it’s nothing against the cast, who are very very talented. The problem is ALL the rest of the factors."

Blair Witch Project meets Andrew Lloyd Weber…not in a good way
"There were no sets, no costumes, and uncomfortably close closeups with hand held cameras. I enjoy the abstact but this was so abstract it actually detracted from Nicole’s talent to the point that I didn’t enjoy it. Sorely disappointing "

Was this really Sunset Boulevard?
"I was really looking forward to this production. I was disappointed. Nicole Scherzinger has a great voice; she's about 20-30 years too young for Norma Desmond. She looks younger than Joe Gillis. She even looks as young as her "younger" self. For me, having smoke on stage for the entire production was a distraction. The only emotion displayed was when Norma sang her songs. Otherwise, blank, unemotional faces were on display by all the actors. Having two episodes captured by a hand held camera and broadcast on the screen of a single tear falling down a cheek is not acting. Hand held cameras can be used effectively for dramatic effect when used judicially but here, for me, they became a cliche after so many instances. All the actors had good voices and I enjoyed the music. I like reimagined works, however, for this production for me, it didn't work. "
