Modern take on a classic hit
"My daughter and I saw the original musical in London over 25 years ago and loved it! We were happy to see it in NYC and were pleasantly surprised with the modern take of one of our favorite musicals. The soundtrack remained the same and was just as powerful then. Nicole Scherzinger and a few other main characters did not play their parts in the show we saw but it didn’t matter - all of the actors were absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone !! (And maybe kids 15+) "

Powerful performances
"Emotionally thrilling performances by all in this new production of Sunset Boulevard.
This is the fourth production I have seen over many years. It was brilliant, clever and fresh, however the sound system needs work. Lyrics and dialogue were lost. "Whispered Conversations" are beautiful when they can be heard. "

WOW! Just amazing!
"Amazing. I've always been a fan of Nicole, but seeing her in this role was eye-opening. I knew she could sing pop, BUT this girl can sing anything. Her vocal range was surprising. What was really awesome was to see her ACT! She embodied the role and made you think you were looking through a window into Norma Desmond's private hell.
The actors who played Joe Gillis and the guy who was Norma's bodyguard were also wonderful actors.
Definitely worth seeing and highly recommended.

Mesmerizing...
"The singing and performances by all were phenomenal. Nicole Scherzinger went above and beyond and commanded the stage. I was anticipating a normal set (with rooms and furniture, etc.), and after a few minutes, I realized this would be different, with a modern take. I ended up loving the up-close camera work, providing a more intimate edge, especially as we were sitting in the mezzanine. This show had me thinking about it after throughout the day, in a haunting and profound way. I hope it receives further recognition, as it truly deserves it. As a final note, one has to love the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. There were a few times, when the notes were reminiscent of the music in Phantom of the Opera. I was fine with that, as I am a huge fan. I highly recommend seeing this show and am so grateful that I had the opportunity."

"Nicole Scherzinger, Tom Francis and David Thaxton have superb voices. If you go for that alone, you will not regret it. Personally, I preferred the drama of the second act.
