"By far the most intense and dramatic show I have ever seen, but also the best Broadway show I have ever seen. Nicole Scherzinger is absolutely powerful and simply an amazing performer. The production value was also impressive with them creatively utilizing the hand held camera to evoke Hollywood productions. The only warning I would give is that this show deals with mental health, self harm, and suicidal ideologies, which may be triggering for some. There is a warning before the show about the material not being suitable for all audiences but I thought a more specific disclaimer would’ve been helpful. "

I loved how the bare stage and black & white concept mirrored the decaying fantasy in which Norma still lived, clinging to the last shreds of hope for a cinematic world of years gone by. The use of live filming during the performance made it "meta noir;" very self aware and yet somehow simultaneously completely out of touch. Nicole's vocals were a powerhouse, and Tom's facial expressions literally told the story for him. Absolutely incredible!!"
