Simply wow!!
"Far surpassed my expectations! Poignant, funny, irreverent, emotional and insightful. All the emotions wrapped up in less than two hours of run time. An amazing cast and truly original, the best performance I’ve witnessed on Broadway. Ever. "

Laugh, Think, and Be Kind
"This production is extremely well written, fabulously funny, and thought provoking. From the charming set design, to the talented ensemble of actors, this story rolls out with humor and deals with the very human challenges of neighbors, and leaves the audience with things to think and chat about. I loved it!. Oh, and what great music!"

It was Fabulous!
"We thought Las was a fabulous play. It was wonderfully written expertly actually. The acting was spot on. The characters were so strong and layered we could not recommend it more highly. Being a fan, die hard fan of Anika Noni Rose, as soon as I heard she was in this cast, we bought tickets and plane tickets to fly in see the show and fly back out the next day, it was so entirely worth it. It touches on the sensitive issues of our day in a way that is relatable and funny, and in a way that causes personal introspection. Awesome!"

A Master Class in Acting
"I am a writer, director, actor who is teaching acting. I wish I had my whole class there to see the show and hear the actors talk about their process after the show. A wonderful show, beautifully written, directed and acted. "

Brilliant & spellbinding
"The actors were awesome, funny and most entertaining. The show was adult humor, where children wouldn't understand, so this is why I would not recommend it for kids. This show was well written & played by awesome actors. I fully enjoyed it. Thank you! It made my birthday memorable. "

About The Balusters

The Balusters is a raucous, wild ride through a small community with big feelings. The Vernon Point Neighborhood Association is a passionate bunch, whether squabbling over historically inaccurate porch railings or debating trash can protocol. Still, no one is prepared for the neighbor-versus-neighbor battle royale that ensues when a newcomer to the board suggests the unthinkable: installing a stop sign on the corner of the enclave’s prettiest block.
