Everything Your Could Want
"I wanted to take my wife and adult daughter to a Broadway Show while we were in NYC to hear my daughter perform in an opera at Juilliard where she’s a grad student. Admittedly, my wife and I and children are classical musicians so the Broadway genre isn’t something we’re very knowledgeable about. I saw that this show wasn’t super highly rated (like Hamilton or Death of a Saleman for instance) but it was also affordable and available so I thought “what the heck - why not.” This show was extremely entertaining from start to finish. We had read The Great Gatsby and seen the movie as well so we were quite familiar with the plot. I gotta say, I can’t imagine what more anyone could want from a Broadway show - it was 100% entertaining, thought-provoking, poignant and dazzling. We really enjoyed it and were very glad we went - we’d be very much more likely to go see another Broadway show based on this great experience. "

"Set design, scene transitions were great. Ensemble scenes were fun and filled with high energy. The 4 key cast members were outstanding. Corbin was the upside surprise. I knew he was talented, but was not really sure how much singing / dancing he would do. He was great. Reeve and Eva live up to the hype. They owned those roles and their chemistry is amazing. Eva is a by far the best single Broadway star (voice, acting, etc) that I have ever seen. She makes it look effortless. Bravo. I’m hoping I can see it again "

Great High Energy Show
"My teen had just read the The Great Gatsby in school and loved it, so I figured it would be nice to treat her to the show. She said there were some major differences between the show and the book that led to even stronger emotional attachments to the characters.
We absolutely loved the high energy of all the dancers. My daughter said it was exactly how she would have pictured one of the parties at Gatsby's house based on the descriptions in the book.
We were not disappointed by anything. The theater was very clean and comfortable. We sat in the Mezzanine section, but there was plenty of leg room and there weren't any issues with blocked views."
