Sassy Update of a Classical Novel
"The cast was great, and we saw a few understudies and they were also amazing. It was a wonderful performance, with beautiful choreography and stunning costuming. The symbolism was on point. First Broadway show for granddaughter
"It was the first time my 20 yr old granddaughter had been to A Broadway show. We both loved it. It was the perfect show to introduce her to Broadway. We were surrounded by high school students. They all seemed to be enjoying it. Probably had to read the book for English class. I would not recommend for young children as I do not think they would understand it. Great show, very glad we went."

Jeremy Jordan is Amazing!
"I will be perfectly honest. My 21 year old daughter introduced me to Jeremy Jordan by having me watch "The Last Five Years". I was instantly hooked by his flawless acting and absolutely amazing vocal ability. He gives me chills when he holds sustained notes.
So...the reason we came to the show, was to see him as Gatsby. When we found out Eva Noblezada of "Hadestown" fame, was Daisy, that was a second bonus. We were disappointed, however, as an understudy performed as Daisy. She was good, but we were looking forward to seeing Daisy.
Jeremy was flawless once again and gave us both chills throughout the show!!!
The costumes were fabulous and the dance numbers were fun and energetic. I loved that there was a tap number and the dance choreography stayed true to the period.
Overall, the show kept my interest with the musical numbers and dances. The storyline was, well, Gatsby, so no suprises there.
Special shout out to the actor playing Nick Carraway, (Noah J. Ricketts), he is a new favorite of ours.
