"It was mine and my boyfriend’s first time in NYC. We had to see a Broadway show before leaving to travel back home. We chose this one since we enjoyed the original Great Gatsby movie from the 70’s and also the newer one with Leonardo DiCaprio. This was THE best play I’ve ever seen. The amount of detail that went into this show from the costumes, the props, the lighting was truly amazing. Every single person throughout the play was so very talented with their dancing and singing. The venue was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this show to anyone! Glitz and Glam NY in the 1920s & 2020s
"The glitz, the glam, the feathers, the fireworks, and the absolute gluttony was real. The show had everything a Broadway show needed: phenomenal voices, great dance numbers, lyrics that stick in your brain, beautiful sets and costumes (and some really fantastically smart changes to both) and surprises. There were a few moments I thought the lighting was clunky, but by the end of the first act, it was perfect, and did not miss. The Great Gatsby had just enough direct quotes from the F. Scott Fitzgerald work to justify your AP American Literature teacher's field trip request, and just enough modern synthesizing that I found myself wanting to revisit the text. "

Amazing spectacle
"This was one of the best experiences of New York. I have visited NYC many times and kept putting the Broadway off, till my wife insisted this time. And what a show we selected to see. The Great Gatsby was simply spectacular, with an ever relevant timeless story, eye-popping stage transformations, beautiful soulful renditions, and an amazing cast that just drew every bit of their audience's attention to their performance.
