Broadway at its finest!!
"A magnificent production!!! Big set design… we were instantly transported into the era the story was set in, excellent musical score and dance numbers, we had our 14-year old attend and had lots to ask him about where he thought Gatsby’s money came from, how he felt about what the couples were doing and the life choices they made in the end etc.
As parents, when we look at these type of Broadway shows together with our teenager, it allows us to open a door in our post discussion to speak freely about uncomfortable “life” situations. Our Son now wants to buy the book!! "

"The Great Gatsby" A must see musical!!
"The entire experience was so far beyond anything I imagined. This was the first musical on Broadway I had ever seen. Everything about the show was magical. My granddaughter and I were so amazed we decided we had to see it again before we left New York, and it was just as amazing the second time as the first time. Best thing I’ve ever seen
"So this was the first show I’ve ever seen officially on broadway but I’ve seen other musicals like six and Hamilton, etc. but I can definitely say this was one of the top experiences of my life. Jeremy Jordan (Gatsby) was INCREDIBLE. His voice is actually angelic it’s crazy. I personally am obsessed with the great gatsby since I studied it in school so I was super excited, and was definitely not disappointed. I’ll admit there were a couple “errors” that weren’t exactly like the book, for example owl eyes was omitted as well as the story about Dan Cody (the person who basically made gatsby who he was), AND THE PART ABOUT GATSBY NOT DRINKING! I felt like that part was very crucial but was ignored. It didn’t matter that much but from a crazy obsessed person it just irked me a little bit. Besides the actual story, the set was BEAUTIFULLY DONE, the outfits were gorgeous and they had working cars?? I thought that was amazing. I have already listened to the soundtrack several times since seeing the show, and if you haven’t heard any music yet, definitely avoid it at all costs. It was incredible to hear everything for the first time in person. I honestly would do so much do be able to watch this again for the first time and almost cried too. I think mostly it’s appropriate for children, however there was a bit of sexual humor and even some moaning sounds (in the background) at one point. If children don’t know what that is then it’s perfectly fine and a great show to watch for everyone. "
