Great Singing Adaptation of the Book!
"The singing was 5/5! The understudy played Gatsby when we were there, and he was an amazing Gatsby. Like absolutely outstanding! The girl who plays Jordan was also one of the best singers in the musical. The people who played Daisy and Nick really brought the characters to life! So good! Overall, I would recommend this to anyone!"

"The music, lyrics, set, actors.....all of it was wonderful! Reminded me of the great musicals from the 80s ('42nd Street, Phantom, etc). I haven't enjoyed a musical like this in quite some time. The songs moved the story along versus, the way it tends to go (songs/music sits in a scene and adds nothing to it). Bravo!"

"The Great Gatsby was a wonderful surprise of a show! My daughter wanted to see it so we went. I LOVED the set and costumes the most. The actors, music and execution of the story were well done. It was a fantastic show to watch, and I was more than pleasantly surprised by the entertainment value of the show.
There was a lot of sexual innuendo, grabbing, and kissing content based on lots of affairs happening. I wouldn’t take younger than mid to upper teenager. "

"I am not a regular theater goer but do catch theater here and there. I felt seeing this was a necessary element of a visit to New York. No regrets at all. The full cast are exceptional. Set design was fantastic. Particularly enjoyed the moving stage with scaling backdrop for visual depth effect, the moving prop elements with interlinked choreography and the creative use of directional lighting to repurpose stage elements as alternate props. Very impressive on all counts. The historic reference to previous iterations of the story such as the original cover art are well placed. Here for business, I would simply have wished for more friends with whom to share in the experience."
