Ryan McCartan was absolutely incredible (along with the rest of the cast!!) I was expecting the world of him before the show and he delivered the universe plus some!! LOVED IT SO SO MUCH! Gatsby enters my personal Top 5
"I loved this show. I’ve seen dozens of Broadway musicals, and I’d put Gatsby in the top 5 among the most enjoyable theater experiences I’ve had. The others on that list are Evita, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Wicked and Hamilton — pretty good company.
What’s there to like about Gatsby? A dazzling visual spectacle. Gorgeous sets, costumes and lighting, fully immersing you in the era of the 1920s. Amazing tech — full-scale cars that drive across the stage! Water that ripples and sparkles! Great dance numbers like the party scene from the second act. Rousing, fun (and funny) songs like “Roaring On,” “The Met” and “Shady.” Soaring, beautiful, romantic songs like “For Her” and “The Past is Catching Up to Me.” Tragic, wistful songs like “For Better or Worse,” “Second Hand Suit” and “Beautiful Little Fool.” And the pure theatrical magic of the interweaving quintet in “Made to Last.”"

"Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la professionalità con cui è stato realizzato questo show, la cura di ogni dettaglio, la sceneggiatura, il dinamismo con cui si passava da una scena all'altra, la bravura degli attori, i costumi. Siamo rimasti colpiti, è stato veramente fantastico! È la prima volta che vediamo un musical a Broadway ed ora pensiamo che non si può venire a NY e non vedere un musical. Il Grande Gasby merita 5 stelle. Il teatro è tenuto molto bene, ci sono i servizi e un bar. Consiglio di portare qualcosa per coprirsi per l'aria confizionata forte, se si soffre il freddo. Avevamo prenotato biglietti nel soppalco molto in alto, mezanine fila E, ma devo dire che per fortuna si vedeva benissimo.unica pecca posti molto strettini."
