Lived up to the reputation.
"This was our first time seeing this musical. We’ve heard great things over the years. Listened to the soundtrack countless times. The show lives up to the reputation of the last 20 years. Elphaba was fantastic. She did the role justice as compared to Edina. Her voice. Was powerful and evoked emotions from both of us. Theater was perfect size and no blind spots. All in all a wonderful performance. It made our trip to broadway worth every minute. "

"This was a brilliant production. Superb sets and cast. Their energy in their performance was exceptional. At the core of it, however, is the story which is beautiful and compelling. It is the true Heroine's journey. Unwanted by her father. Orphaned by her mother. Made to serve the needs of those around her while being rejected and her emotional needs left unmet. Yet, she remains defiant in her principles of justice, kindness and love and refuses to succumb to victimhood. In the end she finds her greatest gift...herself and in doing so brings into her orbit a family of her choosing who unconditionally love her and whom she loves unconditionally.
