Broadway on Broadway Concert Set for September 13

The Broadway League and The Times Square Alliance announced that the 18th annual Broadway on Broadway concert will be held on Sunday, September 13 at 11:30AM in Times Square. The annual free outdoor concert is designed to celebrate the beginning of the 2009-2010 Broadway season.

As always, Broadway on Broadway will feature appearances by stars of current and upcoming Broadway productions, including performances from some of Broadway’s most beloved stars. A complete list of shows performing will be announced later in the summer. Times Square will be “shut down” to make room for the tens of thousands of attendees, stretching from 43rd to 47th Streets. (Entrance to the event is on 43rd Street.) Fans should arrive early for a good spot.
