The London production of Jersey Boys, which is set to celebrate its second anniversary on March 18, will welcome Jon Boydon as Tommy DeVito and Eugene McCoy as Nick Massi. They join continuing cast members Ryan Malloy as Frankie Valli and Stephen Ashfield as Bob Gaudio at London’s Prince Edward Theatre.
Boydon has just completed two years in the West End show We Will Rock You playing the alternate Galileo/Figaro. He previously starred in touring productions of Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show and What a Feeling.
McCoy recently played featured roles in West End productions of Mamma Mia and Guys and Dolls.
Jersey Boys tells the real-life story of how four boys from the wrong side of the tracks became the Four Seasons, inventing their own unique sound and selling 100 million records worldwide before they hit 30. Directed by Des McAnuff, the show won both the Tony Award and London’s Olivier Award for Best Musical.
In addition to the four principals, the London cast also includes Scott Monello as the alternate Frankie Valli, Simon Adkins as Bob Crewe, Jade Westaby as Mary Delgado, Mark Carroll as Donnie/Knuckles, Jye Frasca as Joe Pesci, Charlie Bull as Lorraine, Michelle Francis as Francine, Tee Jaye as Barry, Stuart Milligan as Gyp Decarlo, Joseph Prouse as Norm Waxman and James Winter as Hank. Rounding out the cast are Michael Conway, Ben Evans, Lucinda Gill, Mark Isherwood, Paul Iveson, Zara Warren and Ben Wheeler.
