American Idol Hopeful Siobhan Magnus is the People's Choice for Broadway

With three American Idol alums currently rocking out on Broadway (Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis in Rock of Ages and Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo in Hair), we couldn't resist asking the musical question: Which current member of the Idol top 10 is best suited for the Great White Way?

The answer, according to Broadway.com readers: Siobhan Magnus, the big-belting former glassblower from Barnstable, Massachusetts. In a vote perhapys fueled by video clips showing her starring in several high school musicals, Mighty Ms. Magnus drew 31% of the vote in our latest poll, followed by teen singer Katie Stevens with 22%. (Siobhan as Elphaba and Katie as Glinda, anyone?) The only other Idol-wannabe who polled in double digits was teen cutie Aaron Kelly (a future Fiyero?) with 12% of the vote.

Interestingly, Siobhan’s main competitor on the Fox singing competition, Crystal Bowersox, drew only 3% of the vote. But if a Janis Joplin stage bio hits Broadway, producers will know where to go!
