Emma Barton to Play Roxie Hart in West End's Chicago

Emma Barton is headed to the West End production of Chicago as Roxie Hart on April 26 for a 12-week run. Best known as Honey Mitchell in EastEnders, Barton previously played Roxie in the show’s U.K. tour. Chicago continues its run at the Cambridge Theatre.

Barton will be joined by Vivien Carter (Guys and Dolls) as Velma Kelly, Terence Maynard as Billy Flynn and Adam Stafford as Amos Hart.

Barton has appeared onstage as Peggy in The Secret Garden for the RSC and as Marty in the West End revival of Grease. Her TV credits include BBC1’s Spooks.

Chicago opened at the Adelphi Theatre on November 18, 1997 and transferred to the Cambridge Theatre in April 2006. The London production recently celebrated its 5,000th performance.
