With the Tony nomination announcements due on May 4, Broadway.com wanted to know which now-closed show from the 2009-2010 season you hope those all-powerful nominators will remember. The results are in, and things are going pretty well in Glocca Morra: Finian’s Rainbow squeaked to a win with 28% of the votes. The show inched out another musical revival, Ragtime, which pulled in 27%. Both productions closed in January but were showered with nominations from the Drama Desk Awards, including Outstanding Revival of a Musical.
The Conrad Birdie fan club can "Put on a Happy Face," as the Roundabout Theatre’s Bye Bye Birdie revival landed in third place with 10% of the votes.
Fourth place resulted in a three-way tie among plays, with the Broadway revivals of A View from the Bridge and The Miracle Worker and Tracy Letts' Superior Donuts all earning 3% of the votes.
