Broadway theaters will dim the lights of their marquees for one minute in honor of actress Lynn Redgrave on May 4 at 7pm.
Redgrave passed away on May 2 at the age of 67. A three-time Tony nominee for The Constant Wife in 2006, Shakespeare for My Father in 1993 and Mrs. Warren’s Profession in 1976, she was last seen on the New York stage in off-Broadway’s Nightingale earlier this season.
Born in London into a family of actors, she is the sister of Vanessa Redgrave and the late Corin Redgrave; daughter of Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson; and aunt of Joely Richardson and the late Natasha Richardson. She is survived by three children and six grandchildren.
