Corey Johnson, Clive Francis, Paul Chahidi and Sara Stewart will join the cast of the West End's Enron on May 10. The show is set to run through August 14 at the Noel Coward Theatre.
Johnson's, who will star as Jeffrey Skilling, stage credits include Frost/Nixon and The Last Days of Judas Isacariot. Francis, who will play Kenneth Lay, has appeared in There's A Girl in My Soup, The Hypochondriac and Never So Good. Chahidi's (Andy Fastow) credits include Nation and Female of the Species. Sara Stewart, who will take on the role of Claudia Roe, was last seen on stage in Serious Money and is a regular on TV's The Take.
Enron combines puppetry, music and dance to tell the true story of the rise and fall of the infamous Texas energy company. The show had two sold-out runs in Chichester and at London's Royal Court Theatre before transfering to the West End on January 26, 2010. It's Broadway transfer opened on April 27 and earned four Tony nominations, but will close on May 9.
The show will embark on a U.K. tour with stops in Birmingham, Bath, Salford, Sheffield, Newcastle, Edinburgh. Other cities will be announced at a later date.
